Majority supports EU accession

RIGA- Latvian Facts- Latvian Facts has published its latest poll results based on a survey conducted this week. Among those citizens who plan to participate in the referendum, 63.2% will Latvian's EU accession, 29.1% oppose joining the EU and 7.7% have not decided yet or don't know.

Projected on the entire population, 55.8% of Latvian voters will support EU accession, 33.3% will vote against it and 10.9% have not made up their mind yet.

Finally, Latvian Facts expects as many as 80.6% of the population to participate in the referendum. 8.2% will definitely not participate and 11.2% still don't know.
