Increase of Support for Polish Integration with EU

71% of persons who declare to participate in EU referendum, intend to support the accession of Poland to EU - results from the survey of TNS OBOP in April. Compared to the survey from last month the support for the integration with EU has increased by 5 points.

20% (3 points less than in March) intend to vote against the accession to EU, and 9% have not decided yet how they will vote.

In April, 49% of the respondents have declared participation in referendum; compared to March survey this result has not changed. 29% of respondents stated that would rather vote, 8% rather will not vote and 8% definitely will not vote. 6% of voting age population have no decided yet, whether they will participate in referendum or not.

In April, in whole society (regardless of declared participation in referendum or not) the support for Polish membership in EU was at 60% (in March - 56%). The opponents of the integration in this group were at 23% (in March - 24%).

53% of Poles (3 points less than in March) state that they don't feel enough informed about Polish membership in EU. The feeling about being sufficiently informed have declared 43% of respondents (5 percentage points more than last month).

The insufficiently informed feel mostly the farmers (72%), the rural habitants (60%) and workers (66%).
