Gallup Europe has participated in a range of projects in recent years. Some of these are listed below:
- Between September 12 and November 6, 2008, Gallup conducted a pan-European survey of top Jewish leaders and opinion-formers. The survey was conducted on behalf of the Joint Distribution Committee’s International Centre for Community Development (JDC-ICCD) and the 251 respondents were based in 31 countries and "spanned the full diversity of the Jewish communal world." - Gallup Europe launched the comprehensive pan-European Crime and Safety Survey that collected various measures of personal safety along with rates of victimisation in the most important crime categories.
- In 2004, together with Friends of Europe, Gallup Europe organised the huge qualitative assessment project concerning EU communication - Can EU hear me?".
- In 2006 & 2007, Gallup Europe conducted a poll of European and American top decision-makers from political, economic, cultural and social organisations. This poll gathered the ideas and thoughts of individuals confronted with the most burning issues of the day.
- In 2003, Gallup Europe monitored the local news media in all of the EU's accession countries ahead of 2004's major enlargement. This project was conducted on behalf of the European Commission.
European Working Conditions Survey
Gallup Europe conducted the last European Working Conditions Survey (2005) that provided an overview of the state of working conditions in Europe. 30,000 face-to-face interviews were carried out with workers in the EU, Croatia, Turkey, Norway and Switzerland.
Americans' attitudes about European Union divide along ideological lines
At the time of the 2004 US presidential elections, Alec Gallup and Robert Manchin presented the Gallup data on the awareness, knowledge and attitudes of Americans about the EU.
