Gallup sponsors a scholarship of a talented young European survey researcher to the Survey Research Center in Ann Arbour, University of Michigan. By sending talented young Europeans to one of the most prominent social survey training institutes in the world, Gallup expresses its willingness to utilise in Europe the vast store of professional knowledge that has been developed in the US in the field of social research. The first holder of the grant was Emilia Peytcheva, a Bulgarian survey research student.
